Vancouver's Sitemasher is running a contest to encourage theme development on their hosted website management platform. Sitemasher allows designers to fashion a site without complex coding. Competition will be divided into two categories: design students and design professionals. For each, the breakdown: 1st prize: 1,000, 2nd prize: $500, 3rd prize: $250. Additionally, the top ten finalists in each category will have their design featured on the site, and receive a one year subscription to the Sitemasher Basic package, a $1200 value. There is some time to ensure your entry is perfect; the contest runs until March 1, 2009.
