Sitemasher selected for Software 2008

Vancouver's Sitemasher has been selected as one of 20 companies for the Innovation Showcase at Software 2008 in Las Vegas later this month. This is a major coup for the start-up technical firm that provides software to build, manage, and optimize websites from a browser-based, drag-and-drop platform delivered via SaaS (Software as a Service). Phil Calvin, founder and chief technical officer of Sitemasher, began developing Sitemasher back in the summer of 2006. The Software 2008 Conference will also mark the launch of their open beta and the Sitemasher team is excited to get more feedback from the development community. Co-founders include CEO Ron Moravek, who joined Sitemasher in August 2007 from EA Canada. Moravek also co-founded Relic Entertainment along with Curtis Terry, CFO & COO for Sitemasher. Sitemasher has been solely funded by Vancouver's Anthem Capital. Look for Sitemasher to improve on it's #42 spot on Vancouver Start-up Index next month.

Hi Rob,

We will really try to improve on our #42nd spot - sounds like a challenge to me! I am sure we will creep up when we officially launch our Beta Software. We are currently still in Alpha. :)
