Social Media Camp 2011 registration opens

by Liam Britten | Culture

After the outstanding success of Victoria’s first-ever Social Media Camp, event organizers are working on the second edition of what they are hoping turns into a yearly event.

Like the 2010 edition, Social Media Camp will be focusing on leveraging social media for fun and profit, as well exploring its effect on mainstream media, business and society in general. A great list of speakers have been signed up to lead discussions and give presentations, including keynote speakers Jay Baer and Amber Naslund.

While the next Social Media Camp isn’t taking place until June 3rd and 4th of 2011, you can register now to get the best possible deal. Early-bird registration, which is open now, offers the entire weekend for $199 and a free copy of The NOW Revolution by keynote speakers, Jay Baer and Amber Naslund. This offer is only available for the first 200 registrants, and as of this writing, there are still 131 spaces left for this deal.
