Social Media Camp in Victoria explores many possibilities of social media

by Liam Britten | Culture

Victoria social media enthusiasts are invited to attend Social Media Camp at the Victoria Conference Centre, a one-day series of seminars and presentations to build your knowledge of the increasingly important social media world.

Social media and its relevance in business, community organizing, real estate, elections and even parenting will be explored over the course of Saturday, October 2, with over 30 speakers and presenters sharing their wisdom and experience.

This is an event you'll want top register for early, because the first 100 registrants will receive an autographed copy of Scott Stratten's new book Unmarketing: Stop Marketing, Start Engaging.

Unmarketing shows you how to unlearn the old ways and consistently attract and engage the right customers. You'll stop just pushing out your message and praying that it sticks somewhere. Potential and current customers want to be listened to, validated, and have a platform to be heard-especially online. With UnMarketing, you'll create such a relationship with your customers, and make yourself the logical choice for their needs.

Registration is competitively priced at $125. To register, visit
