This Wednesday evening Vancouverites have two options for learning more about Social Media.
At the Vancouver Public Library, the International Internet Marketing Association (IIMA) is presenting Social Media Branding in the Era of the Empowered Consumer and at the V Lounge at Earl's in Yaletown, the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Associaton (BCAMA) is hosting The Strategy of Engagement in Social Marketing.
At the IIMA event, Tribal DDB's Eric Weaver will review the art and craft of branding and look at the cultural trends driving social media adoption, re-examining the practice of branding in this new era as it applies to both organizations and individuals.
At the BCAMA event, the Vancouver Film School's Stephen Webster will take an insider’s look at the long-term implications of true social marketing. Webster has spearheaded many high-profile international campaigns that have transformed VFS into a truly global brand.
