socialPicks mixes social networking and investing

Web 2.0 is characterized not only by AJAX programming and user generated content but also by community and social networking, and it was inevitable that eventually a network would arise revolving around finances and investing. That network is socialPicks, which allows investors to share ideas, exchange their own market research and track each other's investment performance. socialPicks also provides tools for bloggers to sync the site with their own blogs, after which the site reads their blog feed and, if they determine a blog post is a stock recommendation, ask the blogger if they'd like to submit it to the socialPicks ranking system.
