Sony Launches PlayStation Now Open Beta in Canada

PlayStation 4 owners in Canada can now access PlayStation Now.

The streaming service allows players to rent games. It entered public beta this week.

Currently there are 100 games to rent, all of which hail from PS3. Games can be rented for hours, a week, a month, or three months, for prices ranging from $3 to $15.

One cool feature is that if you rent a game, the game's progress can be saved on Sony's cloud servers, and if it's rented again, you can continue where you left off.

Sony says it is looking into a Netflix-like monthly subscription service as well.
