SQL Server Business Intelligence Workshop

Business Intelligence is a hot category in information technology – for example: “business intelligence (BI) applications have been ranked the top technology priority in the 2008 Gartner Executive Programs survey”.

Microsoft - in the Leaders Quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence Platforms, 2008 - offer their highly rated SQL Server Business Intelligence platform, which includes a number of components that combine to make a compelling offering. And not for nothing - in addition to the database engine, these components include Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services that provide, respectively, the following functionality: data integration/ETL (extract, transform and load), data analysis (OLAP – online analytical processing) and data mining, managed and ad-hoc reporting – all in a single platform!

Sound interesting? We think so, and on August 11-15th Symphic Technology, Microsoft partner and leading provider of SQL Server BI training, will be in Vancouver for their popular 5 day, hands-on SQL SERVER 2005 BI WORKSHOP w/ DATA MINING class where you’ll learn to design and build a complete BI solution using this powerful, comprehensive and integrated platform.
