Calgary may not be known as a hotbed of tech start-ups (yet!) but Startup Calgary is looking to change all that.

You might say Startup Calgary is a start-up itself; they’re hosting their first event, the Startup Calgary Launch Party on November 23rd at the Hotel Arts in hopes of getting out some enthusiasm for start-ups in Calgary and to start building a community of like-minded businesspeople.

Anyone who cares about the tech startup community in Calgary — entrepreneurs, investors, government, service providers, and anyone else — is invited to attend this event. Some exciting Calgary start-ups will be presenting what they’ve been working on, and this is your chance to see hem firsthand.

The Startup Calgary Launch Party takes place November 23rd at the Hotel Arts from 6:30–9:30 p.m. You can purchase your ticket and get more information here.
