Walter Isaacson's biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs opened with the strongest sales week of any book in 2011.

Steve Jobs sold 379,000 copies in the U.S. during its launch week according to The Book Seller. This is more than any title in America since 2010. The thick, 656-page hardcover masterpiece runs $35 at full price but can be had on Amazon for around $25 and in ebook formats for less than $20.

On sale for only a week, Steve Jobs is already the 18th best-selling book overall in the States.

Reminds me of iPhone and iPad launch weeks.
