Basketball legend Steve Nash has launched his first line of designer suits with Vancouver-based custom men’s apparel brand Indochino. The Steve Nash Collection also highlights the athlete’s role with Indochino as an investor.

The twice decorated MVP collaborated with Indochino creative and design teams to co-create the collection, which includes six custom fit suits made from 100% Merino Wool, silk ties, pocket squares and cufflinks.

“I have a huge passion for men’s apparel and brands that are innovative,” said Nash. “So, it is extremely exciting for me to be a part of a brand like Indochino and to have the opportunity to design my own signature collection with them.”

Nash is a friend and business partner of Indochino Chairman, Jeff Mallett. Both are co-owners of the Vancouver Whitecaps soccer team and Mallett is a principal owner of the San Francisco Giants. The former President and COO of Yahoo introduced Nash to Indochino as a result of their shared interest in men’s fashion.

Nash quietly participated in Indochino's $4 million in Series A financing round led by Madrona Venture Group in March 2011.
