Strangeloop raises $10 Million from undisclosed Canadian Angels
Vancouver's Strangeloop announced yesterday that it has raised $10 million in series B funding from a private investment group. According to TechCrunch it is a group of Canadian super angels.
The new infusion of capital will be used to develop new products and features as well as to expand its global reach into Europe, Latin America, and Asia. The new round builds on the company’s $11.5 million series A, which it raised back in July 2007, bringing total investment to over $22 million.
Founded in 2006 by Jonathan and Joshua Bixby, Strangeloop employees 40+ in downtown Vancouver. The Bixby brothers previously co-founded IronPoint Technology which was acquired by The Active Network in 2006.
