Vancouver's Strutta announced today a new integration with ExactTarget which will make Strutta's tools for building social media contests and sweepstakes available within the ExactTarget SocialPages application.
ExactTarget SocialPages clients will have the ability to create, launch and manage Strutta-powered Facebook apps directly from within the SocialPages interface, enabling marketers to leverage information from their Strutta-powered promotions within ExactTarget to power more relevant cross-channel campaigns.
"The true power of consumer engagement is realized when you are able to connect your social efforts with other communications channels such as email and mobile," said Strutta CEO Ben Pickering. "This is a vision we are pursuing with our own platform as well as through key partners such as ExactTarget."
The product integration is being launched at this week's ExactTarget Connections conference where Strutta is participating as a sponsor. Pickering will also be participating as a speaker in a session on running successful Facebook promotions.
Strutta's announcement today coincides with ExactTarget's (NYSE:ET) announcement that it is opening its software as a service platform for software developers, creating the foundation for what they claim will be "the largest cloud-based digital marketing app ecosystem".
