The Compete.com data in the rankings is quite old. For some reason, Compete hasn't been updating their data. If you drill into the rankings on their site (go to stats for your website, then click Visitors Ranking (Monthly)), you'll see data from last month, but the rank that displays in the title bar is from the beginning of September. That's why all of your Compete rankings are identical to last months indices.

For example, NowPublic is actually ranked at 4,230 for last month, vs. the 4,061 shown above.

As I've bitched to you in private, I think you should use Quantcast and require sites to be "Quantified" to be on the index...
