The WTIA's Fast Pitch Forum continues to move a breakneck speed and the afternoon session of Productivity Tools & Platforms is underway with Swype.

Swype is a new method to enter text on screens which enables users to type 30+ words per minute on handheld devices with virtually no learning curve. There is really no point in trying to describe how Swype works when the brunt of the presentation was an impressive live demo - have a look.

Swype was created by one of the original inventors of T9 predictive text technology which has been installed on over 4 billion phones worldwide. Swype business model will be based on OEM licensing.
