Toronto's Syncapse Corp. announced today that they have completed their acquisition of Portland's Swift Notion Software. Swift Notion specializes in customization, training and development for Jive Software’s SBS and Clearspace social software platforms.

The acquisition advances Syncapse's commitment to expand its roster of talent and accelerate the growth of the company’s service offerings on its four core pillars: community building, social strategy, products and measurement.

Syncapse and Swift Notion had partnered on a number of large-scale community development projects on the Jive platform since early 2009. A newly formed division will work with new and existing clients to expand the company’s global expertise in large-scale community development in concert with Jive Software.

Swift Notion Software was previously owned by Jon Garrison, who now assumes the title of Director, Jive Development, North America at Syncapse Corp.
