Take advantage of CONNECT's Structured Networking opportunity

On October 12th BCIC is hosting the CONNECT Conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre with Club Penguin Co-founder Lane Merrifield keynoting and a long list of great speakers making for hard choices when picking your two sessions.

Techvibes has been highlighting a handful of the speakers over the past month. So far we've profiled Steve Wandler of Metabridge, Ben Sparrow of Saltworks Technologies, Jeanette Jackson of Light-Based Technologies, Darrelll MacMullin of PayPal Canada, and Jan Ulrich of Optemo Techologies.

In addition to taking in some great advice, attendees have the opportunity to chat with prominent BC technology leaders during the Networking and Dinner segment from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Tech leaders have been invited to share their experience with early-stage tech entrepreneurs and this is your opportunity to get advice face-to-face from industry experts.

If you're interested in chatting with Angel Mike Volker, Lawyer Mark Longo, or the ultra-connected Rizwan Kheraj (the list goes on), look out for the sign-up board at the registration desk. A whiteboard will list CONNECT’s 30 Technology Leaders (with photo, name, title and 3 areas of expertise) along with available time slots starting with 6:40pm and running until 7:50pm.

You MUST sign-up to participate in this structured networking portion of the evening and you're expected to come prepared with questions to make the most of your 10 minute time slot. So do your research now.

If you haven't signed up for CONNECT, it's not too late. Tickets are $50 and available online.
