Tonight’s Tech Fest Poised to be Highlight of Startup Week Vancouver

 

 

Techvibes Tech Fest brings together Vancouver’s fastest-growing tech companies looking for the best talent in the city. In partnership with the Vancouver Economic Commission (VEC), we’re hosting our next Tech Fest recruiting event during Startup Week Vancouver tonight.

Our lineup of exhibiting tech companies is set and includes Techvibes Job Board members Hootsuite, Visier, Plenty Of Fish, Mobify, Unbounce, Avanti Commerce, Freelancer.com, Trulioo, one45 Software, Bench Accounting, and the D&B Cloud Innovation Center.

For those of you that would rather work for a startup—and here are eight reasons why you might—we’ve got some unique opportunities in the VEC Startup Alley. Startup Week Vancouver runs from November 14 to 21 and is a week-long series of events around the city to celebrate our tech community and startup ecosystem. The week of events is being curated by a crack team of local evangelists including Cheryl Draper and Boris Mann.

It kicked off with Startup Weekend Vancouver last Friday and cumlminates with the Cascadia Summit this Friday. In between are a series of community driven events which you can read more about online. Here are our favorites still to come:
