For the past 6 months, the editors of Techflash–Pudget Sound Business Journal's online blog– have been collecting information about who the top women techies are in the Seattle area. Now, they have that list and it includes more than 100 of the most influential women in the Seattle technology industry - from engineers and bloggers to technology executives and scientists. So they're putting together an event and asking you to join them.
This intiative will serve to identify the women already involved in wide variety of the tech sector. It will also be a resource for connecting and encouraging the community to recognize women in the industry. A networking reception will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a panel discussion exploring themes in leadership, science, computing and engineering.
