Techvibes.com Site Notice

Posted by Rob Lewis on Sat, May 10, 2008 9:50 PM · Filed under · Comments

The main Techvibes.com site was hit with an SQL injection attack earlier today, very likely linked to a string of attacks that have affected hundreds of thousands of sites around the world. Some data was corrupted, but will be recoverable from backup. No data was stolen, the nature of the attack was only trying to insert tags into fields in the database where it might be rendered on a page. When this was noticed, the site was taken down quickly.

For now, all traffic is being redirected to the Techvibes blog, which is hosted on a different server and unaffected. We hope to have the main site back up on Monday. Thanks for your patience.
