Supported by the Launch Academy, GrowLab, and Microsoft BizSpark, the App Pitch happens on Wednesday, March 13, from 6pm to 10pm. The event will be hosted at the Launch Academy, which is located on 128 West Hastings Street in Vancouver.

There will be one round for round robin pitches, then a round for six finalists, and finally audience voting to determine a winner. Pitches, which can be performed solo or in groups of two, will be three minutes long and must include the "great at" statement—"my travel app is great at helping friends create itineraries collaboratively for group trips"—the app design, and the business side of things, such as the target market and what it will be priced at.

Judges include Full Stack's Boris Mann and Tea Nicola from WealthBar Financial Services.
