Evolution of Gaming is an interactive, retrospective event that aims to celebrate the history of videogames.
It plans to showcase how games have shaped our culture, defined a generation, and set the foundation for games of today and tomorrow. Featuring consoles, games and plenty of hands-on exhibits to enjoy, participants get a chance to relive (or experience for the first time) the glory of classic games such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Frogger and Evolution.
Located in the Centre for Digital Media’s Hangar, at 577 Great Northern Way, from August 1 to 10, Evolution of Gaming’s admission is free—but space is limited, organizers affirm. There are three time slots available per day for the public visits: 9am to 12 pm, 1pm to 4pm and 5pm to 8pm.
