The Comprehensive List of Canadian Incubators and Accelerators

Incubators and Accelerators are programs designed to accelerate the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services. While Incubators and Accelerators may vary in the way they deliver their services, their popularity is at an all time high.
Thanks to Y Combinator and TechStars, the unique combination of funding and mentoring has become a successful model that others think they can replicate. So much so that late last year, TechStars co-founder David Cohen said that we're in a startup accelerator bubble.
But one fact remains true - successful completion of an accelerator program increases the likelihood that a startup will stay in business for the long term.
So, where does this leave Canadian tech entrepreneurs looking to get their new business idea accelerated with funding and mentorship?
A handful of Canadians have had success through Y Combinator and TechStars. And even with the new kid on the block 500Startups. But competition for these programs is tougher than ever and not everyone wants to head south to prove themselves.
For those entrepreneurs that want to stick close to their Canadian roots, there are options that are worth investigating. Below is Techvibes comprehensive list (well, not quite yet but with your suggestions in the comments it will be soon) of Canadian Incubators and Accelerators.
