The Mashable meetup comes to Toronto

With the mass adoption of all things social media, Mashable, the self-proclaimed “social media guide,” has fast become a source for all things social, digital and innovative as the distinctions between the offline and online world becomes more blurred by the minute.

It’s no surprise then, that Mashable is coming to Toronto, a hub of social media.  In hosting a Meetup in this city, Mashable hopes to celebrate the strides we’ve made as a global community, in the domain of all things social.  On June 30th with the sponsorship of Netfirms.ca, the event will feature Scott Stratten (of unmarketing fame on Twitter) as well as a speaker from DDNMedia.com

As consumers demand more of businesses with the transparency afforded by the social web, it’s clear that digital conversations in all their mediums are here to stay. As a community, it's important to recognize this shift in the way dialogue occurs.
