With chapters spanning Berlin to Boston, the Social Media Club has become a go-to resource for digital practionners, storytellers and media professionals in pursuit of a common goal: to promote shared learnings across different media avenues while advancing media literacy within communities of interest.
Toronto is set to be hosting a Social Media Club event on Thursday, July 29th, dubbed as a "Meet the Founders" forum where attendees will get to meet founders Chris Heuer and Kristie Wells. Interestingly enough, Social Media Club founder Chris Heuer wrote a blog post outlinging the group's rapid growth, in a global context. Clearly, Toronto is on the heels of this growth reaching more than 100,000 members worldwide.
