Third annual Blackberry Developer Challenge offers more than $1.5 million in prizes

appsLess than two months remain to develop an app worthy of the Challenge.

The third-annual Blackberry Developer Challenge, an app competition hosted by Blackberry Partners Fund, cuts off submission at midnight on September 27. That may seem like a while away, but not if you want to develop an app that will cash in on the more-than-$1.5 million in prizes!

Prizes range from exclusive, valued memberships to advertising and promotional packages for commercialization, and testing hours.

Categories for apps accepted are Productivity, Fun & Games, Knowledge, Sharing, Navigate & Explore, Multimedia, and In The Know, which overarch sub-categories such as news, weather, travel, and business.
