Third Tuesday Vancouver is coming up on October 16th at the SoHo in Yaletown. Previous meetings of the new tech and PR confab have seen a growing number of attendees, and with Joe Thornley of Propr.ca and David Jones of Prworks.ca set to speak, this event looks to be well worth attending for those interested in technology, social media, and the ways in which the two interact. Topics scheduled for discussion included the importance of social media to Canadians, who have traditionally been excluded from a worldwide audience by the dominance of American mainstream media. Other topics include White hat vs. black hat social media, and the importance of taking meetings offline at gatherings such as, you guessed it, Third Tuesday.
