Times have changed. When once shopping on a desktop computer was unfathomable, it's now becoming common to shop from the palm of your hand.

Ebay Canada released the results of a Leger Marketing study that revealed 10% of mobile shoppers in Canada conduct e-commerce in the bathroom. The research also revealed that 14% of online shoppers in Canada plan to conduct e-commerce while at work.

Interestingly, 1 in 10 mobile shoppers in Canada have purchased a gift for someone while they were together using their smartphone. And 61% of Canadian shoppers believe that online access to retailers and marketplaces makes it easier to comparison shop (not sure how 49% of Canadians can argue this fact, but oh well).
