Spearheaded by the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA), Advertising Week boasts a number of high profile speakers including activist and MP Justin Trudeau, and rock star turned marketing entrepreneur Gene Simmons. This is the third year for Canada’s biggest communications industry gathering which runs next week from January 24th to 28th and includes major events in Toronto and some smaller events in five other cities across Canada.
Whether you’re interested in lectures sponsored by Internet heavyweights like AOL, Google and Yahoo, or want to attend award shows that recognize the leaders and innovators in the Canadian communications industry, Advertising Week has something for everyone. Of special note are the CASSIES Awards show and dinner on January 24th, the second annual Agency Wars boxing event supported by NABS and Ronald McDonald House on January 26th and the Va-Va-Vintage Ad Ball on January 27th.
