Tickets now on sale for Startup Calgary Launch Party

Early-bird tickets for Startup Calgary's Launch Party on December 1st went on sale today - so grab one for $20 now.

If you're a startup in Calgary, it's not too late to apply to present at Launch Party. Startup Calgary is still looking for fresh, up-and-coming startups to be showcased and you have until November 7th to apply.

While last year’s event was a huge success, this year they’ve upped the ante – more exposure, more mentoring, more coaching and $60,000 in prizes.

The rules are simple – if your startup is no more then two years old or has less then $2 million in revenue, has a product on the market (or is close to having a product on the market), and is in information, communication or media technology – you need to apply.

The top 10 companies will be chosen by a committee of advisors, investors and community experts.  Those top 10 will receive pitch coaching; have the opportunity to pitch to an esteemed panel of judges and peers for feedback.  Then it’s off to pitch to the Startup Calgary VIP’s – a who’s who of investors, media and community leaders.  If that wasn’t enough, the top 3 of the chosen 10 companies will be showcased to the public on the big stage during the Launch Party.
