TiE Entrepreneur Forum - Raising Capital

TiE Toronto is starting off the new year with its monthly entrepreneurship forum series today evening in Toronto, with the event focused on "raising capital". It will bring together various strategists on growth financing and legal experts and as well as a company that has recently gone public on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

• Dave Kennedy, Partner, KPMG: Dave Kennedy is an Advisory Partner with KPMG in Toronto.  Dave focuses on assisting companies and owners with M&A and financing projects.
• Sunil Mistry, Partner, KPMG: Sunil Mistry is an Audit Partner located in KPMG’s Toronto Enterprise Practice, which focuses on private, entrepreneurial, owner-managed companies and private equity investee companies.
• Dee Rajpal, Partner, Stikeman Elliott LLP: Dee Rajpal is a Partner with Stikeman Elliott in Toronto practising corporate and securities law.  His practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, corporate governance and compliance matters with an emphasis on cross-border and international transactions. 
• Craig Leon, Chief Executive Officer, Titan Medical Inc.: Craig Leon is the CEO of Titan Medical, a company focused on development and commercialization of robotic surgical technologies.  He is also the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Redwood Asset Management.  He is also Associate Portfolio Manager of  GrowthQwest Capital Inc. and was a co-founder of MiFund.com and was involved with Generex Biotechnology Corporation (GNBT: Nasdaq), 2000-2003.
