Tomorrow is Third Tuesday

Hot on the heels of a successful BarCamp in Vancouver last weekend comes a couple after work events worth attending this week - the inaugural Third Tuesday tomorrow night at the Soho Cafe and nPost's Entrepreneur Networking event at the Library Square Public House on Wednesday.

Third Tuesday is a very informal gathering of computer/marketing/PR types and this is their first event in Vancouver. Guest speakers are invited to present on a topic for 30 minutes and the group has the opportunity to discuss and ask questions afterwards. Tod Maffin is part of the organizing crew and decribes the event on their Facebook event page:

Third Tuesday is a group of people interested in discussing social media -- from podcasts to blogs, Facebook to Plaxo. Bring your ideas, gripes, half-baked thoughts, and business cards.

nPost hosts entrepreneur networking events and is venturing back into Canada after holding successful events this summer in Seattle and Portland. We’ve got some pretty cool Web 2.0 start-ups percolating around Vncouver, so this event should be a great place to meet up. Be sure to RSVP and if you're not under the radar ask them to add your link to the list of companies attending.
