Phil Barrett of Burning the Bacon with Barrett listed the Top 10 Interactive Marketing Conferences to attend in 2008 today and two Canadian events made his list. The obvious marquee events like SXSW Interactive and Web 2.0 Expo made the grade but this May's Mesh Conference and October's CMA Digital Marketing Conference also got the nod.
No doubt Barrett's Toronto location influenced his decision but it's still great to see homegrown conferences get some coverage. Barrett is a Senior Director with Carlson Marketing Canada and he leads the mobile and interactive practice providing strategic leadership in the areas of usability, online media, search engine marketing, email, social networking, mobile, and web 2.0.
