Toronto-based startup EventMobi, an interactive mobile event app and engagement platform for conferences and trade shows, is showcasing the industry’s first Mobile Gaming & Engagement Layer for conferences and trade shows at this year’s Exhibition for Incentive Travel, Meetings & Events in Las Vegas starting today.
“Attendee experience is always the most important factor for an event planner,” says EventMobi CEO Bob Vaez. “With this new product line, we have integrated simple yet incredibly effective gaming concepts using points & rewards, to better engage attendees and make sure they have a fun experience.”
The mobile gaming platform integrates with EventMobi’s mobile event platform. It can alternatively be purchased as a stand-alone product to function with any other mobile app or website.
“We already had this incredibly useful app that was making events easier to navigate,” Bob explains. “With the addition of the gaming layer, the app is more engaging—and it’s also a lot more fun.”
EventMobi event apps and the pilot version of the gaming layer have recently been used by some well known brands like Disney and Crocs as well as at major conferences.
“It is crucial for attendees to make the most out of the event, be it in educational sessions, walking on the show floor or networking with other attendees and sponsors," adds Bob. "However, the gaming layer is also an incredibly valuable option for event organizers and sponsors as a way to generate leads and increase sponsorship revenue."
