Toronto to Host The World’s First Festival Dedicated YouTube Content

Posted by Techvibes NewsDesk

Well known Canadian YouTuber Corey Vidal has launched the "world’s first festival dedicated to showcasing video content from some of the best creative talent on YouTube".

Buffer Festival attendees will experience a wide variety of high-quality video content and will meet the world’s biggest Canadian and international YouTube stars.

The festival will include 50 feature-length shows over 3 days, with two different types of show: themed screenings that highlight YouTube content across broad genres, and screenings presented by celebrity YouTubers, showcasing bodies of work from fellow full-time YouTube creators, who are also set to premiere new content.

"I am very excited to combine the YouTube experience with a theatrical setting. There is so much incredible content being made specifically for YouTube, and as a full-time YouTuber I am delighted to showcase some of that talent,” Corey Vidal, Executive Producer and Founder of Buffer Festival and President of ApprenticeA Productions, said.

The Buffer Festival will be held in Toronto from November 8th to 10th at a handful of locations including TIFF Bell Lightbox, Scotiabank Theatre, Glenn Gould Studio, and the Jane Mallett Theatre.
