AppHero announced today that they have been acquired by Toronto's Fuse Powered Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
Relay Ventures-backed Fuse Powered is the innovative force behind Fuseboxx, an end-to-end integrated mobile app publishing platform that provides actionable analytics and a powerful advertising platform to the world’s leading publishers and developers.
According to today's announcement the AppHero team is enthusiastic about joining Fuse Powered. This acquisition will leverage AppHero’s app recommendation platform to enhance the Fuseboxx advertising by maximizing app revenues.
AppHero was founded in 2011 by 17 year-old Jordan Satok (he is now 19) with the goal of helping people discover great apps and games.
Earlier this year Techvibes reported that Satok's AppHero had raised a $1.8 million seed round lead by OMERS Ventures and that he was the youngest Canadian entrepreneur to raise venture capital.
