Toronto startup Bizmey has announced today that it has changed its name to Tapgage. Its name change comes "with the new focus of helping mobile application developers with monetization and user acquisition."

"With the App market being oversaturated with apps, the problem is clear: developers have a difficult time targeting their apps to consumers," said Salman Habib Tapgage's Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development. "Tapgage sets out to solve this problem with its cross-promotional click exchange. The reason for the name change is to give our clients a better idea of what we're doing."

Tapgage is currently working with 25 developers helping them with user acquisition through the click exchange network. The click exchange is a free service that lets developers plug their apps into a network and gain users by referring users to the network on a click basis. Developers can register on the network for free and integrate the SDK that will allow them to access the network. Tapgage works with developers to get the right deliverable integration in their apps. The network is currently only available for iOS users and will be released to other networks shortly.

Tapgage is a network that "provides a unique way to mobile app developers to monetize their users through any stage of their app lifecycle."
