Toronto's Dealfind Sells 40,000 Yogurty's Vouchers, Biggest Deal in Startup's History at $200K

Toronto web startup Dealfind announced today the completion of its biggest group deal ever. The Canadian group buying company sold just under 40,000 vouchers for 50% off Yogurty's Frozen Yogurt in Ontario.

The $5-for-$10 deal generated $200,000 in revenue for Dealfind and Yogurty's—the biggest deal ever for Dealfind. But, while big, the Yogurty's deal doesn't hold a candle to Tuango's laser hair removal voucher: nearly 4,000 vouchers sold at a price of $279 to generate more than $1 million in revenue.

"We knew when we partnered with Yogurty's that this was going to be a hugely popular deal," said Dealfind Co-Founder and President Gary Lipovetsky. "A home-grown company, Yogurty's is a leader in the frozen yogurt movement and we were thrilled to offer their delicious and healthy snack to our customers. We very much look forward to partnering with Yogurty's again as they expand and add new locations."

"Yogurty's is thrilled about our partnership with Dealfind on this remarkable deal and achieving such massive success," said Yogurty's CEO Aaron Serruya. "This deal gave frozen yogurt lovers an added incentive to come visit our stores and experience all the fun of creating their own frozen yogurt masterpiece, at a great price. We are confident this deal helped us turn new and existing customers into Yogurty's froyo® fans and became part of our froyo nation. We look forward to working with Dealfind again in the near future."

Founded in 2010, Dealfind is now available to consumers in 30 markets in Canada.
