Toronto's Fuse Powered raises $2M from BlackBerry Partners Fund and NFQ Ventures
Toronto's Fuse Powered has completed a $2-million seed funding round, with contributions from BlackBerry Partners Fund and NFQ Ventures. The investment will accelerate Fuse, a mobile game publisher, from early-stage to fully established as it finalizes plans for developer and brand partnerships, new business initiatives, and mobile game launches in the coming months.
Formed in 2009, Fuse offers "comprehensive analytics tools to support its mobile development partners, such as a real-time game performance dashboard and data-driven business plans." The company also leverages its games to build audiences and visibility for development partners in the App Store, advises partners on how to monetize their games, community, and marketing initiatives.
