Toronto's Mobovivo has forged a strategic partnership with Cinram International's digital media subsidiary, the Los Angeles-based 1K Studios.

"The Mobovivo partnership is the next step in our strategy of providing a single source, end-to-end distribution and marketing solution for new and existing clients," says Ben Higgins, Senior Vice President, Business Development and Innovation for Cinram. "The focus of our combined capabilities is to expand our digital delivery to all devices, from the living room television to the smart phone, or tablet."

"Mobovivo's platform and team perfectly complement the strong creative strengths of 1K Studios and the backend digital supply chain management solutions of Cinram," said Trevor Doerksen, founder and CEO of Mobovivo. "Our partnership will deliver game-changing services and technology built on extensive industry knowledge and deep relationships with television networks and Hollywood studios."

Mobovivo apps enable producers and broadcasters to market and monetize premium quality video across multiple platforms and on all screens. The apps includes a branded interface, an online digital locker for easy content access, digital rights management, 'watch later' capabilities, in-app promotions, leading-edge second screen technology, and a rich social media experience that heightens the viewer's connection to content.

Cinram International is a provider of multimedia products and related logistics services. 1K Studios has been helping clients develop and market popular entertainment, media, software and consumer electronic products for 14 years. Mobovivo is a software company that enables producers, broadcasters and media companies to distribute and market branded video apps for a range of devices.
