Chris Ragobeer wrote an open letter to Toronto's Technology Community this week on the topic of TO becoming a technology hub. In the process Ragobeer took an inventory of the Toronto space and the future looks bright. He notes that Toronto has the talent, risk-takers, individual voices, and established entrepreneurs and companies to make a go of it. A couple of the 'individual voices' Ragobeer tips his hat to were recently recognized on BlogTO in their recent Toronto's Best Web and Tech Evangelists survey.

Despite ICT Toronto's lack of effort as pointed out by Joey deVilla, 2008 looks like a promising year for Tech in Toronto and we plan to be part of that mix. We're searching for a Toronto contributor to join us and cover the local tech start-up space - tech events, new start-ups, and industry news.
