Toronto's Zod Studios launches customizable, multi-stream news app for iPad

Toronto software startup Zod Studios has just launched a customizable news app called QuikView, which allows you to view multiple types of information, or "data feeds", on a single iPad screen. It also uses YouTube Subscriptions as a medium to display personalized content.

With QuikView, you're creating your own personal news hub. You choose the content that you want, what the layout of that page will look like, and how many pages you want to have. QuikView is all about viewing information at a glance.

The app currently comes with 3 data feeds to choose from, including an RSS, YouTube, and Twitter. Zod Studios will be adding Facebook into the mix very soon along with others. Soon, third party developers will be granted the ability to create their own data feeds.

QuikView is available on the App Store for $1.99. For more features, check out the website.
