Canadian Startup Trulioo Raises $2 Million, Launches New Product
Canadian startup Trulioo unleashed a double announcement today: their first product and their first round of funding.
The Vancouver-based company has raised $2 million in seed funding from Blumberg Capital. With the extra money, Trulioo has hired Andrew Nash as their chief technical officer. Nash was formerly a product director at Google.
Trulioo also unveiled Profile Plus, their first product, which analyzes Facebook profiles to determine whether they are fake or legitimate accounts.
Trulioo was founded in 2009.
