Tucows reaches 10 Million domain name milestone

Toronto's Tucows announced yesterday that they just celebrated a significant milestone - surpassing 10 million domain names under management.

The rise to 10 million was led by Tucows’ wholesale services group, OpenSRS. OpenSRS provides domain name registration services through a reseller network of over 10,000 web hosting companies, ISPs, Internet consultants, and other service providers in over 100 countries.

The more than 10 million domain names under management includes domain names managed under Tucows’ ICANN accreditation, as well as names Tucows manages for other registrars under their own accreditations.

Tucows is the third domain registrar to hit the 10 Million domain mark - Enom and GoDaddy beat them to it.
