Turn a tweet into a car with Nissan Canada's Innovation Challenge

Nissan Canada has launched the Innovation Challenge, which gives fans a chance to turn a tweet-sized entry into a free car of their choice.

The contest works like this. First, fans of the Facebook page submit a 140-character-or-less entry on what innovation means to them and post it on the contest tab. Nissan then handpicks "attention-grabbing" posts. These people have made it to the second round, where they're asked to create a brief video that embodies their post.

Here's where it gets intense. Nissan will select the 5 best videos and fly those folks to Toronto to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. This panel then selects a final winner, who wins a free Nissan vehicle of their choice (except that crazy fast GT-R). And as a bonus, their idea gets brought to life in a Nissan commercial too.

So, what does innovation mean to you?
