Uber is playing Cupid this Valentine's Day.
The transport startup is offering on-demand red rose bouquets, wrapped and hand delivered to any location in downtown Toronto from 10am to 5pm this Thursday, February 14.
"Through the Uber iPhone and Android app, users will see a new vehicle view type listed as 'ROSE," the Silicon Valley company explains. "For $95 you can select this option and within 15 minutes, a driver will deliver a red rose bouquet and custom card to your loved one at work, home, or wherever they might be! Treat loved ones to flowers and a delivery experience they will never forget!
Uber says that the offer includes one dozen long-stemmed red roses "boxed to perfection" and one personalized Valentine’s card. In addition, some recipients will receive what the company describes only as "sweet surprises.
Romance on Demand will not be availble to Uber users in Vancouver.
