The MIT Enterprise Forum of the Northwest promotes the growth of innovative technology in the Pacific Northwest, providing knowledge and inspiration for personal and networking growth. The MIT Venture Lab is hosting Why Startups Succeed & Why They Fail on November 6, 2008 at One Union Square Boardroom, 600 University Street in Seattle--registration and networking starts at 5:30 and the presentation begins at 6:00.

The MIT Enterprise Forum's Dinner Program is hosting Getting Funded - VCs vs. angels vs. private equity, and what they are investing in now on November 12, 2008. This event is being held at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, between 5:00 and 8:00, and will be particularly interesting given the current American economic situation.
