US VC Looking For Canadian Investments

GrandBanks Capital, a Boston-based venture capital firm, is actively looking for Canadian investments (in Ontario and Quebec) and recently sent out an open letter to Canadian entrepreneurs and investors (published below). Canadian investments have worked for them in the past which is why they are interested over here, and rumour has it that even pretty recently they closed a deal in Toronto. Interested Ontario/Quebec-based entrepreneurs - go ahead and give Charley Lax (Managing Partner, GrandBanks Capital) a call (his phone number is in the document below). Quote from the letter:

Yeah, we like cigars, but we like Canadian entrepreneurs better!
