Vancouver Inches Closer to Free Public Wifi Zones

Vancouver is getting closer to free public wifi in parks.

The Vancouver park board voted 4-2 to have the city's chief digital officer draft a report by fall on how to create a cost-effective, public wifi system, according to Business in Vancouver. BIV suggests that Shaw is the most likely partner for the wireless network, despite Telus being headquartered in Vancouver.
