Vancouver's CakeDeals: 'We offer the best user experience'

CakeDeals is a Vancouver-based daily deals startup. The bootstrapped aggregator aims to differentiate itself from the sea of Groupon carbon copies—partly through unique features and partly by simply being the best at what it does.

CakeDeals has an iPhone app, an analytics dashboard, and a "Deal Search Engine" that allows users to effectively hunt down the types of deals they're interested in. The startup also has a clean well-designed interface, according to its four founders.

In fact, co-founder Andrew Ng says that he is "100 percent convinced we offer the best user experience" when stacked up against competitors like OneSpout, DealRadar, and MyDealBag.

It's not easy to stand out in the group-buying space these days but with a 140% boost in new users in the past 6 months and "consistent, organic growth," the CakeDeals firmly believes it won't "fade away" like so many aggregators already have.

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

Cakedeals helps consumers discover, manage, and share daily deals (a.k.a. group buys). We aggregate all the daily deals in major cities across Canada, US and Asia into a single place. There are over 300 daily deal sites in North America, and it is becoming impossible for deal hunters to keep track of them. Our users will never miss a hot daily deal by using CakeDeals. more
